Swedish death metal outfit In Flames has posted a message online via their Twitter account regarding work on In Flames new studio album, which will be the first without founding guitarist, Jesper Strömblad. The message reads as follows:“Pre-prod is almost finished, songs are almost done and we are almost ready to start the actual recording of our next album! We’ll be releasing exclusive clips filmed for our fan club Jesterhead.com starting sometime in the next week.”
Guitarist Jesper Strömblad quit IN FLAMES in February in order to continue receiving treatment for his alcohol addiction.
The band spent the last few months touring the world with Strömblad's temporary replacement, Niclas Engelin from the Swedish band ENGEL.
Engelin had helped IN FLAMES on a couple of occasions in the past and is no stranger to the band's songs or the touring life.
